I do have personal experience with stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination. As a Dominican I have been facing stereotypes since I was in middle school in Puerto Rico in the 80s, people were making jokes , saying that I was an illegal immigrant even thought I migrated from my country with an legal status already established.
